I may not know your story yet — but I believe you deserve care that honors your mind, body, and spirit.
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone.
I am Jerry Parker Jr., a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW-C) and Doctoral Student in Social Work at
the University of Southern California. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, chronic pain, and domestic violence
recovery — and I bring an empathy-first, healing-centered approach to every session.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds — BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, all races and
ethnicities — and bring Christ-centered love and cultural humility to every session. Telehealth available
across Michigan, Monday through Thursday.
I am also a published author of six works — spanning trauma recovery, spiritual growth, faith and wellness,
and children's literature. My books are an extension of the same healing work I do in session, and are
available on Amazon.

More Space is growing — expanding our clinician team, deepening our community presence, and
developing innovative models to reach those the current system has left behind.
We believe access to quality mental health care should not depend on geography, income, or circumstance.
That conviction drives everything we are building.
More Space Mental Health exists to help you free your mind — creating space for the thoughts, beliefs, and
possibilities that move you toward the life you're building.
Because the way we think shapes the way we live. And when trauma, anxiety, grief, or chronic stress crowd
out everything else, it becomes nearly impossible to hear your own voice — let alone trust it. We are here to
help you find it again.
We offer trauma-informed, healing-centered therapy for individuals and couples who are ready to stop
carrying it all alone — even when they're not yet sure where to begin. Whether you're navigating trauma,
anxiety, chronic pain, relationship wounds, domestic violence recovery, or simply a season of life that feels
heavier than it should, this is a space built for you.
We are especially passionate about serving BIPOC communities, survivors of domestic violence, and
those whose pain has too often been dismissed or minimized. That passion does not close our doors — it
sharpens our commitment to showing up for every client with the same cultural humility, empathy, and
dignity. We welcome people of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals, with care that is both
evidence-based and deeply human.
We treat the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — because that is the only honest way to heal. Our
approach is Christ-centered and justice-rooted, guided by the conviction that love and healing belong to
everyone.
You don't have to have it figured out to begin. You don't have to earn your way to healing.
